| "One Time Password" (OTP)
is one of the most popular mechanism of further
authentication and/or authorisation. OTP is created
at the time of login and communicated to the customer
via a mechanism/device accessible to only that customer.
OTP is different each time and it is valid for only
a few minutes. A low-cost and effective solution
is where the password is delivered to the customer’s
mobile or his personal email registered with the
bank. The other mechanism is by providing USB like
token device some of which can generate an OTP by

with a valid debit/credit card and PIN. |
